Project Overview

The problem: Independent vendors across Pakistan needed a single platform to list products/menus, take orders, and get them delivered, without each vendor building their own website, payments, and logistics from scratch.

Target audience: Local vendors and stores (retail, food, grocery) on the supply side; everyday consumers ordering for delivery on the demand side.

Business goals:

• Give any vendor a live storefront in minutes, no technical setup required
• Handle end-to-end order flow: cart, checkout, local payment gateways, delivery
• Scale to many concurrent vendors and drivers on one shared platform

Our Solution & Technical Highlights

• Three independent applications (customer storefront, vendor/store panel, admin panel) served from one PHP codebase with role-based session guards
• Real-time driver dispatch and order tracking via Firebase
• Granular admin permission system (super admin + per-feature grants) for a growing internal team
• Local payment gateway integrations (JazzCash, EasyPaisa) alongside standard card payments

• Vendor self-service storefront with custom branding per store
• Live order tracking for customers and dispatch view for drivers
• Coupon, discount, and deals engine
• Automated email/notification queue for order and account events

Performance optimizations:

• Session-lock bypass for mobile API traffic so concurrent app requests never queue on PHP session I/O
• Async mail queue (cron-processed) so no request blocks on sending email
• Server-rendered pages with minimal client JS for fast first paint on low-end mobile connections
